Other procurement options
Short Form Contract
The Short Form Contract (opens new tab) is a short contract that can be used in place of longer, standard contracts to procure non-complex deliverables.
It can be used by all government departments and executive agencies for procurements below the procurement thresholds, but also for some simple above-threshold procurements. For example, a recent client used it to procure 10 days of editorial services from Scroll.
Current procurement thresholds are £139,688 (inc VAT) for central government services and £214,904 (inc VAT) for non-central government authorities.
Scroll business-to-business (B2B) contract
If you’re not a public sector organisation, or none of the options above work for you, you could use Scroll’s own business-to-business (B2B) contract.
We have used this with many businesses. It is straightforward, legally compliant, and can be tailored to your needs.
How we comply with IR35
We run IR35 assessments using the government tool (CEST), proprietary tools and our own questionnaires.
We also regularly consult with tax experts, and we have tax liability cover to assess and insure our decisions.
